Through the practice of non-violent communciation, we can learn to clarify what we are observing, what emotions we are feeling, what values we want to live by, and what we want to ask of ourselves and others. We can choose to not use the language of blame, judgment or domination. We can choose to experience the deep pleasure of contributing to each others’ well being.

This creates a path for healing and reconciliation in its many applications, ranging from intimate relationships, work settings, health care, social services, police, prison staff and inmates, to governments, schools and social change organizations.

This is an experiential workshop, going past a lecture and into practice. In the practice nonviolent/compassionate communication will be the content and authentic relating will be the modality.

About the facilitator:
Ben Corley- An inspiring authentic relating facilitator in Houston, Texas, Ben has been an avid student of Non-violent Communication and A Course In Miracles. His interest lies in cultivating connection in his own relationships as well as giving others the ability to connect more deeply. Ben believes that through exploring deep communication, a high level of empathy and a greater capacity for seeing, hearing, and accepting everyone for who they are is not only possible, it is inevitable.
